admission process for the academic session 2020 -21 starts from 10 th Jan, 2020.

Age criteria for admission in Swarna Jyothi Primary & Pre-Primary School

Now let us look at Swarna Jyothi Public school admission age in different classes. The Pri-Primary school offers both preschool and kindergarten programmes. 
Primary School Offers from Grade 1 to Grade 8.


The Pre-Primary is divided into 
Playschool & Kindergarten 

The Playschool programme is divided into :

1. Play Group The age criteria are 1.10 years
2. Nursery -       The age criteria are 2.10 years. 


    The Kindergarten programme is divided into :

1. LKG (Lower Kindergarten)  The age criteria are 3.10 years. 
2. UKG (Upper Kindergarten) The age Criteria are 4.10 years. 


The Primary is from Grade 1 to Grade 8.

The age Criteria for Grade 1 is 05.10 Years
The age Criteria for Grade 2 is 06.10 Years
The age Criteria for Grade 3 is 07.10 Years
The age Criteria for Grade 4 is 08.10 Years
The age Criteria for Grade 5 is 09.10 Years
The age Criteria for Grade 6 is 10.10 Years
The age Criteria for Grade 7 is 11.10 Years

Let us now tell you about what child is going to get in a typical Swarna Jyothi Play school & Pre Primary School  As mentioned above, they offer two schooling programmes divided in four categories. We will now discuss about the curriculum of each in detail.


Swarna Jyothi Play Group programme

The Play Group programme of Swarna Jyothi Playschool is suitable for children between 1.10 and 2.10 years of age. The main focus of this programme is to help the children master some basic skills required in school and life. With a structured day with stimulating activities and group interaction Swarna Jyothi ensures that children travel through the right path of inquisitiveness, exploration, and discovery. In the Play Group programme, children spend most of the day singing, dancing, laughing, and playing, while at the same time and exploring indoor and outdoor environments and learning from the same. Learning and growing at their own pace, the children are helped in building cognitive, motor, communicative, and social skills in the Play Group programme.


Swarna Jyothi Nursery programme

At the Nursery programme of Swarna Jyothi, children are taught some basic academic lessons like pre-reading, pre-writing, pre-math, and science. They are also taught social skills. The curriculum is divided in monthly themes, weekly topics and daily activities to have better focus. Alongside, art, music, dramatic play and social interaction help the children at Swarna Jyothi Nursery programme develop their self-esteem and creativity and logic skills.
  
Swarna Jyothi Lower Kindergarten programme (LKG)

The kindergarten programme is an extension of the learning experience in Swarna Jyothi that begins with Play School and Nursery. The LKG programme focuses on helping children realise their inner potential. They learn and grow at their own pace, and are motivated to minutely observe the environment around them and learn from the same. A linguistic development is also given attention, alongside developing fine motor skills and better cognitive abilities.


Swarna Jyothi Upper Kindergarten programme (UKG)

The LKG programme emphasises on vocabulary building as well as the application of concepts learnt in previous classes. The kids learn reading and writing, and complex subjects like maths, Language like Kannada and Hindi are introduced considering that kindergarten is the stepping stone to formal schooling for a child. The Upper kindergarten programme of Swarna Jyothi thus aims at increasing the language and mathematical skills of children while also trying to increase their attention span that will make them ready to kick start their formal schooling and take loads of extensive and exhaustive future education.
Additionally they will be exposed to Life skills development through various activities which helps them to manage day to day life and handling failure and Success by being emotionally strong throughout their life.

Swarna Jyothi Admission process: How to enrol your child in Swarna Jyothi Public School Programmes?

So, how and when to take admission in Swarna Jyothi Public School ?
Playgroup Admission is open almost throughout the year. However, admissions to Nursery, LKG, and UKG programmes close by the 31st of August
and For Grade 1 to Grade 8 Closes by 31st May . For each year or session, registrations open from January. It is advised to register well in advance because of limited seats, as limited number of students of each batch facilitates a better student-teacher ratio.


Documents required for Swarna Jyothi Playschool admission


You will have to produce the necessary documents for admission in Swarna Jyothi Public School at the time of enrolling your child. You must give them a photocopy of the birth certificate and three recent photographs, Aadhar card copy of child and parents, caste certificate,  alongside the duly filled application form.
Also, as you need to furnish the vaccination details (BCG, DPT, OPV, MMR, DT, HBV etc.) of your child in the admission form, we suggest (not mandatory) that you carry at least the photocopies of documents relevant to your child's vaccination for verification purposes.
